Barefoot Festival is an intimate and unique, family friendly gathering focusing on the celebration of dance, music, art and culture. Set in the cultural heart of the country, middle England, in the beautiful Leicestershire countryside.
We will be holding workshops in our beautiful Big Top - Belly Dance, Tribal Belly Dance, Flamenco, African Dance, Can Can, Hoola Hooping, Poi Spinning, Capoeira, Drumming and Percussion, The Charleston, French Can Can, Burlesque and so much more.

This year we have an amazing Fire Walk, our usual mind blowing Fire Show, Cabaret Show with Trapeze and Aerial and on the saturday night the sensational Talulah Blue Burlesque Show!!

There is also art a fantastic Arts and Crafts tent with acoustic stage and open mic opportunities!
We'll be holding chocolate making workshops, crochet and knitting, fascinator making, collective art sculptures, life drawing and more
We also have a wonderful theatre tent for children with pirate shows and fairy parties, with glitter tattoos and face painting, a kids arts and crafts tent and a dedicated children's yoga tent!
We're going to knock your socks off!!
There is an awesome selection of caterers serving scrummy food from around the world, vintage caravans serving cream tea and a fully licensed bar!
We have a healing fields section with yoga classes, tai chi, meditation and therapists offering massage, reiki and henna body art.

This group has been set up to help promote and support the event that takes place every summer time, and to enable those who attend the festival to keep up to date with the organisation and keep in touch with friends they have met thru' the festival.
It is also an opportunity for people to share their camp experince with others who may be interested in getting involved or coming along, and a space for creative ideas and comments.

The camp is run generously through volunteers and we are always looking for extra hands. Those involved produce the camp through their love of movement, music and art. We are always looking for extra support and ideas.
Profits are ploughed right back into improving the facilities and performances at the camp.
