Andy has been in the music industry coming up 30 years and in this time he has worked around the world in some of the biggest clubs, brands such Hed Kandi and Gatecrasher! He's worked on various radio stations on and off since he was 17 and his personal favourite genre to play would be house music; anything from Chicago House through to Tech House. He's a retired business owner, a husband and a father and he's lucky enough to have his own music studio at home where he loves being back on the radio!

Host of our monthly Dance Ovation Show

Anthony is a father, youth and community worker, and DJ .
He is the founder of Radio 1860, which he decided to set up to get young people and the community involved in broadcasting as a hobby and something that could turn into a career for some of them.

Chris "The Shirt" Elliott was brought up in SE London on a diet of Reggae,Soul and Jim Reeves (blame his Jamaican dad for that one). He started playing on internet radio a few years back on the original Sunrisefm and since then his stations have included the now defunct Vinyl Morpher Radio, Platinum Grooves Radio of which he was part owner, He has been known to hit the floors on various dance floors at Soul Nights and of course the infamous Caister Soul Weekenders but as his got older its more of a crawl rather than a spring. Shirtys dress sense (loud shirts) and choice of football teams (Millwall) have had people questioning his sanity, but his choonz are good so we let him in lol.

Dan Sun is from the West Midlands, UK and has been entertaining since as long as he can remember.

Danny Sun presents the unique radio show with weekly themes, special guest interviews & playing broad variety of music
He also presents the Overflow show showcasing some of the best emerging independent talent from across the world and laidback show which is a late night programme of chilled / ambient music

Dave Edwards has been associated with the world of Radio Broadcasting for over 40 years, having started as many do, in Hospital Radio. He was one of the driving forces behind the formation of The Loughborogh Hospitals Broacasting Service (LHBS) back in 1975.
In fact Dave was the Station Manager for several years.

He was also associated with Radio Fox, in his home city of Leicester, in the early 1990's. He produced and presented the Sunday Breakfast Show.

Over the years, Dave has worked for both Commercial and Publicly funded radio stations both here in the UK, as well world-wide.

He spent some time broadcasting in the USA, Canada, and Indonesia.

Dave returned to live in the UK again in 2010.

He has spent the past few years providing 'Voice Overs' for several radio Stations, producing them in the Broadcast Studio that he has set up at his home.

Having experienced the Seventies first hand, he has a genuine love for the popular music, of that particular decade.

This special love of the 70's is reflected in his show called

'That Seventies Sound'

which he produces and presents each and every week.

The show is heard on quality radio station's around the globe.

Geoff is a music jock and 8 times award-winning DJ. He started his music career aged 13 with some local discos and by 18 was working with Mecca Ballrooms opening venues around the UK.
In 1974 he was on air at the opening of commercial radio station Radio Hallam in Sheffield, followed by presenting shifts on other local radio stations in the 80s as well as pirate radio.
Geoff is currently on air every weekday morning at Forest FM (community radio in Dorset), 9-10 a.m. with ‘All Our Yesterplays’, and Saturday nights 8-9 p.m. with ‘The Soul Show’. He also currently syndicates 3 shows: ‘Solid Gold 60s’, ‘Supersonic 70s’ and ‘A Kick up the 80s’ to 105 stations in 25 countries. For the last 15 years, Geoff, along with his producer Adrian Collis, has presented the cult radio programme ‘The Soft Rock Show’ which ran for many years exclusively on community station Express FM in Portsmouth but is now syndicated across 26 stations internationally. It is a 4 times award-winning show which has sessions, breaks new artists, and covers every genre. It also features interviews from artists from every decade. Altogether, Geoff has interviewed close to 3000 musicians including Sir Cliff Richard, members of The Rolling Stones, Genesis, The Eagles, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Toto, Level 42, and from every decade: Freddy Cannon, Tommy Roe, Marty Wilde, The Searchers, The Hollies, Sweet, Slade, Suzy Quatro, Deep Purple, Yes, The Stranglers, plus many more. In addition, Geoff has also interviewed many songwriters, authors, venue owners and PR companies.

I bought my first single in 1969....."Sugar Sugar" by The Archies!!! I continued collecting rather a cross section of music until my best friend bought me "Burn" by Deep Purple for my eighteen birthday!! That was it....I became a life long "rocker" from then on!!
So my first love is ROCK, as is my second & third love.....although The Carpenters are my guilty pleasure!! Aside from Rock, I also love Sixties & Seventies music.....probably because I lived through them!!! lol
My love of Radio has been going for more years than I care to remember.....25+ years with Sunshine Radio on the Isle of Wight & a stint on internet radio with Vectis Radio for eight years, then I seemed to get offers to broadcast my shows all over the place!
A final thought....If someone had told me in 1969 not to collect the 6000 plus albums I collected over the decades because you'd be able to access them & more on a mobile phone that fits in the palm of your hand I'd have never have believed it!!! Mind, I did enjoy collecting them!!!

Having lied from an early age so I could sneak out to gigs in the 1970s…I play music from back then right up until now, featuring the very best new tracks. Think Kate Bush hanging out with Fontaines DC, Pink Floyd checking in with Kasabian.
Most weeks the show has an interview and a theme and I strive to make the song choices apt, maybe even witty! I am fascinated by people and features include a problem page. When I am not involved in radio I like being in nature, travel and playing in my band. I would love to hear your comments, ideas and suggestions so please get in touch.

Jeff started taking a real interest in music from an early age. He became interested in DJing
when his brother teamed up with a friend and used to do the clubs and pubs in the mid-70s.
He developed a love of independent music in the 80s initially. By then he was fed up with
listening to the same top 10 songs played ad nauseum and started looking at alternatives.
He believes there is a significant number of like-minded listeners who also want something
different. Hence the A&R Show. Album tracks and rarities, the kind of thing you won't
normally hear on mainstream radio. Having been an avid listener to an online station for a
few years, he approached the owner about doing a one-off special. It was well-received, and
as a result he was offered a weekly slot. The rest as they say is history. He now presents for
a number stations in the UK, America and Europe. He really enjoys preparing and recording
his show, as it really gets him thinking about what to play, and when. Off-air he enjoys the
theatre, both on- and back-stage, and seeing local bands play.

I live just north of London, UK and am a lifelong musician having picked up the guitar at 12 years old. I love all genre of music and have played in many different types of bands from blues to dance to jazz to folk. Still playing in bands and love every minute of it. I have a special love of the Blues and sharing that love with you on the radio is a real privilege. My love of all music comes across in my show at the ‘Joker in the Pack’ feature where I play a tune that is not necessarily Blues but one I really love.
